At The Relational Hour, we believe you deserve clarity and transparency when it comes to the cost of your care.
Under the federal No Surprises Act, you are protected from unexpected medical bills and have the right to receive clear information about the cost of services before your sessions take place.
As a client in a private-pay practice, you are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for non-emergency services, including psychotherapy. This estimate reflects the anticipated total cost of services as they are reasonably known at the time they are provided.
You may request your Good Faith Estimate before scheduling an appointment or at any time during your course of care.
If you receive a bill that is $400 or more than the amount listed in your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to initiate a dispute through the federal patient–provider resolution process. We encourage you to keep a copy of your estimate for your records.

If you have questions about your estimate or billing, you’re welcome to contact The Relational Hour directly for clarification.
