The Relational Hour is a boutique therapy practice offering a safe and inclusive space for individuals, couples, and relationships of all kinds. Rooted in a trauma-informed, affirming, and culturally sensitive approach, my work centers the sacred time we dedicate to navigating intimacy, communication, and relational healing. Whether you’re exploring new depths in your relationship, healing from rupture, or seeking clarity within yourself, this is the hour devoted to you and the connections that shape your world.
No, I only work with adults aged 18+. My practice focuses on adult individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship and intimacy concerns.
At The Relational Hour, I offer private-pay therapy focusing on relational healing and connection. I do not accept insurance, which allows me to prioritize your individual needs without the constraints of insurance mandates. Insurance companies require diagnoses and control what treatments are covered, how long therapy can last, and what is considered medically necessary. This often limits the scope and depth of care, especially in relational and intimacy-focused therapy. Because I am private pay only, I do not communicate or file claims with insurance companies. However, if you wish, I can provide a superbill, a detailed receipt of services rendered, which you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Please check with your insurance carrier about your plan’s coverage and reimbursement policies.
At The Relational Hour, sessions can be paid using major credit and debit cards, HSA and FSA cards, and secure online payment through your client portal. Payment is collected at the time of service, and a card must be kept on file to reserve appointments. I am a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance, though superbills are available upon request for clients who wish to use out-of-network benefits.
No, I do not complete FMLA or disability paperwork, nor do I write Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters. My work focuses on relational and emotional well-being rather than clinical documentation or evaluations required for those purposes.
Absolutely. Many people come to therapy on their own to explore patterns, heal past relational wounds, or gain clarity around their needs and values before or instead of entering a relationship. You don’t have to be partnered to do powerful relationship work.
When working with more than two people, we’ll begin by discussing structure, boundaries, communication agreements, and therapy goals. Sessions are collaborative and adapted to your unique relational constellation. My goal is to support each voice and dynamic with clarity and respect.
